Fire Water

So...yea.

A night of slightly beligerent, totally incoherent, debauchery.

Where to begin? I had a crappy week, so being with some great friends made me really happy and brought up my mood considerably. I was ready to party. Bring it. Unfortunately, the bartender at Velvet was also ready to party, and I drank a considerable amount of very strong drinks.

This led to several things, some of which are hazy and blurry in my memory.

Pieces of the evening I remember- getting sick on myself and Chris. Getting sick again on myself while in line at the restaurant. Pretending to look coherent in front of police officers in dire fear of being taken to to the drunk tank. Stacey or Chris taking my pulse to make sure I'm still alive. Having a stranger pee in front of me in the bathroom because I was taking too long. Throwing water all over myself to clean off and ending up soaked head to toe as a result. Apologizing profusely to everyone around me. Waving to a stranger boy at every stop light and then having him drive erratically and wave back at every light as a result. Chris forcing me to drink water and ice chips all night. Waking up this morning totally not hungover in the least, but mortified in a very real and palpable way.

Well, I guess this means I stay away from the fire water for a little bit. Man. It was the bottom of the barrel, the very worst I have ever been. Yow...

Today, we ended up going to GoGo Cafe again (nothing beats following a night of partying like a plate of honey walnut prawns) and then heading to Stonestown Mall to buy Chris a new clubbing shirt and then we hung around Dan's place where I got to hear some guitar skills and got more books from my book pimp.

Off to reading I go...
